An “International Migraine,” Albright Alright with Pak?

Trust the Press Trust of India (PTI) and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) to highlight dramtically different takes on Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright’s remarks on Pakistan at CFR’s “US Relations with the Muslim World” panel discussion on Friday:

In Pak Most Dangerous Country in the World: Albright the PTI writes,

“I have said that Pakistan — you know, every day, some of us are asked, what is the most dangerous country in the world? And for me, Pakistan has won the lottery because it has everything that gives you an international migraine,” Albright said.

And the APP takes also chooses which words to use (or not to use) with an agenda in Madeline Albright Says US-Pakistan Relationship Going to Be Major Relationship:

“I think there will be a re-calibration in terms of how we relate to Pakistan. It is going to, in my opinion, be one of the major relationships,” she stated at the Council on Foreign Relations while speaking on the U.S. relations with the Muslim World.”

It’s a shame the people of India and Pakistan don’t routinely take in one another’s media coverage– perhaps then they’d get a full story.
